25th DSAS offers free martial arts seminar
CONSISTENT to their commitment for a safe and peaceful community, organizers of the 25th Defense & Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) is again hosting free seminars on basic self defense and home protection measures at the country’s premier gun show slated on July 13 to 17 at the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
World shooting champion Jethro Dionisio, president of the Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers of the Philippines (AFAD), said their organization has also lined up talks from renowned speakers on their expertise on gun handling and safety, responsible gun ownership and The Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Law.
These discussions have been a regular feature of the DSAS, the country’s longest running gun show organized by AFAD, as part of the group’s unwavering campaign in promoting responsible gun ownership in the country.
A special stage will be set up at the exhibit venue where the seminars complete with visual aids will be conducted for free for DSAS visitors, according to Dionisio.
In partnership with the Philip- pine National Police (PNP) under Director General Ronald de la Rosa, the DSAS will again spearhead the LTOPF & PTCFOR Caravan to serve as a one-stop-shop for gun owners who wish to avail of the License to Own and Possess Firearms and Permit to Carry Firearms Outside of Residence.
Applicants of PTCFOR and LTOPF are advised to first check the require- ments at the DSAS Facebook page and event posters before submitting their documents for processing.
An exciting array of modern firearms, ammunition and gun paraphernalia awaits the visitors.
In line with the DSAS’ silver anniversary celebration this year, AFAD will be raffling away exciting prizes for lucky gun show visitors during the five-day event.
