Before this, Camp Evangelist­a had only one functionin­g ambulance which serviced injured - anao, particular­ly in Marawi City.

GM Balutan visits the troop of the 4th Infantry ( Diamond) Division in Camp Evangelist­a and reassures them that PCSO will continuous­ly provide medical assistance Sweepstake­s - together with Gen. Benjamin Madrigal, who stressed the need for additional ambulance units due to the increased number of of the ongoing conflict in the country’s Islamic city.

PCSO notes that troops are in dire need of transporta­tion and other medical assistance to augment their existing two rescue helicopter­s being used to transport soldiers with fatal injuries and those who need to be immediatel­y transferre­d to emergency hospitals for treatment.
