Pacquiao-Horn rematch negotiation begins

TOP Rank Promotion chief Bob Arum said negotiation for the rematch between Australian Jeff Horn and Manny Pacquiao has now started and the bout might happen later this year.

Arum, who is now coordinating with Pacquiao’s adviser Mike Koncz in the United States, explained that they have not yet decided on the venue of the rematch.

Pacquiao (59-7-2 win-loss-draw record with 38 knockouts) lost to the 29-year-old Horn last July 2 in Brisbane, Australia in a controversial unanimous decision, which drew flaks from boxing experts here and abroad.

Pacquiao, meanwhile, denied that he’s not seeing eye to eye with the Top Rank Promoter.
