Residents of Mataas na Sampalok in Bulian, Plaridel, Bulacan, protest against the presence of container yards of the Interpacific Highway Transport Corp. (IHTC) that they say violates environmental laws. A cease-and- desist order to stop the use of the container yards was issued by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Environment Management Bureau Region 3 against IHTC on April 12, 2017 but the order has not been enforced.
