Muntinlupa was the first city in Metro Manila to use the Doxcheck Document Security System for the permits to the locals and to measure the legitimacy of the business licenses.

Through the Doxcheck system, documents such as business permits, governmentlicenses, governmentIDs, diplomas, transcriptofrecords, andcertificateswillbe stored in a secured centralized online por- tal. The system will also enable appointed persons to check, approve or hold the releases of documents, or eliminate fraud facilitations and unauthorized releases.

Meanwhile, Mayor Jaime Fresnedi said the partnership will speed up the process of issuance of business permits and protect the welfare of business owners in Muntinlupa City.

“The local government takes authenticating of documents in a higher notch as we aspire to be the benchmark of good governance and ease of doing business in the country,” he said.

Recently, Muntinlupa City was named as the “Most Business-Friendly LGU for Highly Urbanized Cities” by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).
