ADMU partners with UK university

THE Ateneo de Manila University ( ADMU) on Monday launced a landmark partnershi­p with Queen Mary University of London for various educationa­l programs that include data science, and innovation, media and arts technology.

This partnershi­p stands on a combined 300 years of academic excellence and leadership, across a multitude of discipline­s and perspectiv­es.

QMUL is one of the leading higher- education institutio­ns in the UK. The University has over 130 years of teaching excellence and ranks in the top 25 in the world for its internatio­nal outlook (THE World University organizati­on that gathers 24 world- class research- intensive universiti­es in the UK. Today, it is one of the few universiti­es in the world that offers a Master’s degree in Media, Arts, and Technology and Data Science.

The partnershi­p between ADMU and QMUL is in great - mission on Higher Education ( CHED) and British Council (BC) initiative Partnershi­p under the Joint Developmen­t of Niche Programs. Under this initiative, CHED and BC provided seed funding and capacity building for ten Philippine universiti­es to partner with UK institutio­ns towards the developmen­t and delivery of transnatio­nal education programs (TNE) in niche areas critical to national and regional developmen­t.
