ACommerce keen on more partnerships
BANGKOK- BASED online platform provider aCommerce Inc., which enables brands to promote their products online in Southeast Asia, is targeting more partnerships as it continues to expand in the region.
Quito San Agustin, general manager for Philippine operations at “double” its global clients in 2018 as it sees a booming opportunity in the ecommerce platform with “more brands” and consumers starting to adopt the platform.
“Last year, we had a couple of clients, and now we have 25 clients just this year. We want to to 40 brands next year,” he told reporters following a media briefing on Thursday.
“It is really becoming a convenience now because even down to groceries—we see it in China, Peking ducks are being deliv- convenience stores or restaurants,” he added.
Agustin said they focus on the segments of electronics, home and living, fashion, and consumer goods.

“We are looking at 10,000 square meters next year for the Philippines,” he said.
Agustin said aCommerce is already evaluating the location.
