‘Paskong Kapuso’ airs Sunday

GMA Network promises viewers a grand spectacle Sunday night, December 17, as it airs, “Paskong Kapuso: The GMA Christmas Special.”

Leading the roster of performers are Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez- Alcasid and Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, together with the network’s prized singers Julie Anne San Jose, Maricris Garcia and Christian Bautista, as well as homegrown singing groups One Up and T.O.P.

Further joining them in the opening number are primetime stars Dennis Trillo, Jennylyn Mercado, Lovi Poe, Carla Abellana, Tom Rodriguez, Rhian Ramos, Glaiza de Castro and Alden Richards.

Newly married Comedy Queen AiAi de las Alas will meanwhile give a one-of-a-kind rendition of the song ‘12 Days of Christmas’ with Andre Paras, Sheena Halili, Mike “Pekto” Nacua, John Feir, Boobay, Super Tekla, Tetay, Maey Bautista, Boobsie, Divine and Betong Sumaya to bring on the laughs.

Featured in the rest of the segments are the stars of such programs as “My Korean Jagiya,”“Impostora,” “Haplos,” “Ika–6 Na Utos,” “Pepito Manaloto,” “Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko,” and “Kambal Karibal,” among many others.

Completing the show is Asia’s Songbird anew who will peform inspirational holiday music with the AFP Chorale.
