28th Philconstruct to showcase building materials and construction equipment from 23 countries
ORGANIZED by the Philippine Constructions Association, Inc. (PCA), Philconstruct has been bringing together suppliers, manufacturers, and industry professionals in the construction industry for close to three decades now. On January 6 to 9, 2018, it will hold its 28th edition where visitors can expect to see the latest building materials and construction equipment from 23 countries. The biggest trade event in the country, Philconstruct will occupy both the SMX Convention Center Manila and World Trade Center Metro Manila plus two additional tents and a massive outdoor display of equipment as well.
Will Decena, overall event chairman and 1st vice president of PCA, said that the event will be a great venue for stakeholders from both the government and the private sector to see how these products and technologies from other countries can be used to further improve and strengthen the country’s various
Palmeo (Canada) structures and infrastructures.
“PCA has always believed in the importance of cooperation and collaboration in driving growth for the industry,” he said. “Philconstruct presents the perfect opportunity to do this. We have experts and manufacturers from different countries who are very excited to be here in the Philippines to introduce their innovations and also meet local architects, engineers, interior designers, government representatives, and other professionals from the industry to share their knowledge as well as explore
Payatas (Spain) possible areas of partnership. We expect this synergy between these stakeholders to help bring the practice of construction here in the Philippines to the next level.”
Aside from the Philippines, countries who will have the biggest representation at the show are China, the European Union, Germany, Italy, India, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Vietnam, and the United States.
“PCA is also very grateful and is looking forward to another chance to work closely with local industry organizations such as the Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors, Inc. and the Philippine Society of Ventilating, Air-conditioning, and Refrigerating Engineers, Inc.,” said Dante Abando, president of PCA.
“Philconstruct is going to be a great start to 2018 and we look forward to see people who have been coming to the show for years will still be there as well as new attendees. This is a must-see for anyone involved in the industry,” added Morris Agoncillo, incoming president of PCA. For more details, log on to
