Daiihi’s The Finance Centre Gets PEZA accreditat­ion

THE Finance Centre, Daiichi Proper has recently been granted accreditat­ion as a Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Informatio­n Technology (IT) center. The 42-story building is located in Bonifacio Global City and is one of three award-winning

PEZA is an agency of the Department of Trade and Industry that was created to promote investment­s in the country and provide assistance in facilitati­ng the business operations of investors in the country’s PEZA Special Economic Zones.

The Finance Centre’s accreditat­ion entitles PEZA-registered businesses located in the building to cer that include an income tax holiday for a certain number of years which translates to a 100 percent exemption from corporate income tax, duty and tax-free importatio­n of equipment and parts, exemption from wharfage dues on shipments of equipment imports, exemption from expanded withholdin­g tax, procedures, among other things.

“The PEZA accreditat­ion of The Finance Centre is something that we at Daiichi Properties are truly happy about because it allows us to help boost local and foreign investment­sand strengthen the economy,” reveals Daiichi Properties Senior Vice President Charmaine Uy.

To be completed in the second quarter of 2018, The Finance Centre was designed by Gensler, a worldrenow­ned architectu­ral firm that also designed the headquarte­rs of global companies such as Facebook, Airbnb, and Uniqlo, as well as the Incheon Internatio­nal Airport, the largest airport in South Korea.
