PLDT, Smart ink P1.4-B Huawei deal
PLDT, together with its mobile unit Smart Communications, recently signed a P1.4-B partnership with global ICT leader Huawei to enhance the telco’s wireless service delivery platforms. As part of PLDT Group’s capital expenditure program, the 15-month agreement with Huawei aims to improve Smart’s online charging platforms and electronic loading for prepaid subscribers, which is expected to improve customer experience.
