COLUMBIA Sportswear, together with its brand ambassadors, dis- partners, conducted the project “Rehabilitate La Mesa Eco Park” on March 7, 2018 in Quezon City to help ensure the park’s sustainability in the years to come.

Columbia’s partners from all over the world also became a part of the event, which included weeding, soil preparing, planting of germinant, and repainting of playgrounds at the La Mesa Eco Park.

La Mesa Eco Park, formerly a watershed, is the primary source of drinking water of about 12 million Metro Manila residents. With 2000 hectares of this property dedicated to woodland and wild life, it also provides the city with the fresh air it needs. Unfortunately, in the past years, the watershed came into disrepair.

been made in La Mesa Eco Park to transform it into the landmark it is today, there is still much to be done. This is also the reason why Columbia Sportswear was eager to help improve the state of the park.

The brand has been in the business of developing outdoor gear, equipment and apparel for more than 70 years, making high- quality products that keep people comfortable and protected, no matter where their excursions take them.
