Thus, it can be concluded that a safe and secure school community is not clean and beautiful but also safe from disaster and free from drug abuse. This idea reinforces the advantages of this program.

With the extension of Brigada with disaster reduction and elimination of illegal drugs, the innovation promotes healthy educational community and long lasting program.

Love and care over Rationale

The rationale of Brigada Eskwela may not also be the reason why one should partake in the advocacy of Deped. The love and care of every Juan for school as a government unit must be present. Everybody belongs to a certain community and school is a part of it. To love the community is to care for school as well. This, therefore, gives everybody a strong obligation making a school a healthier place to live. Protecting the school from all threats is securing the future of youngsters.

The love and care that one gives during the Brigada Eskwela contributes intangible wealth to every Juan.

In fact, one’s love and care for a school is tantamount to a million pesos’ worth of savings from DepEd’s funds. Instead of allocating the fund for the improvement of school, DepEd may spend the budget on other concerns such as the training of teachers and students, enhancement of instructional materials and more.

Every Filipino who contributes to this program not only revives the spirit of bayanihan but also supports DepEd’s advocacy in creating partnership that builds the future of students.

“Every Juan who contributes to this program not only revives the spirit of ‘ bayanihan’ but also supports DepEd’s advocacy in creating partnership that builds the future of students.”
