ARMM delivers basic services to Tawi-Tawi
COTABATO CITY: Regional Governor Mujiv Hataman of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) led the inaguration of infrustructure projects and delivered to Panglima Sugala, a remote town in Tawi-Tawi, basic social services during the celebration of the municipality’s 60th founding anniversary on Monday.
Dubbed as a “One Stop Shop,” the People´s Day Activity was highlighted by the delivery of basic services such as supplementary feeding, medicines and medical check ups, school supplies, skills related services and distribution of food packages held at the town’s center.
Panglima Sugala Mayor Regie Sahali-Generale and former TawiTawi provincial governor Sadikul Sahali welcomed the delegation and expressed their gratitude for the regional government’s support in uplifting the lives of the people in the town.
Hataman also guranteed support for the town’s economic progress through infrastructure development through ARMM Helps that stands for Health, Education, Livelihood, Peace and Governance and Synergy, a convergence plan to bring the services of the regional government closer to its constituents.
ARMM Helps, one of the banner programs of the Hataman administration, empowers community engagement and delivery of services through newly constructed village halls, community learning centers, water systems and health clinics as well as police action centers.
