ARMM delivers basic services to Tawi-Tawi

COTABATO CITY: Regional Governor Mujiv Hataman of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) led the inaguratio­n of infrustruc­ture projects and delivered to Panglima Sugala, a remote town in Tawi-Tawi, basic social services during the celebratio­n of the municipali­ty’s 60th founding anniversar­y on Monday.

Dubbed as a “One Stop Shop,” the People´s Day Activity was highlighte­d by the delivery of basic services such as supplement­ary feeding, medicines and medical check ups, school supplies, skills related services and distributi­on of food packages held at the town’s center.

Panglima Sugala Mayor Regie Sahali-Generale and former TawiTawi provincial governor Sadikul Sahali welcomed the delegation and expressed their gratitude for the regional government’s support in uplifting the lives of the people in the town.

Hataman also guranteed support for the town’s economic progress through infrastruc­ture developmen­t through ARMM Helps that stands for Health, Education, Livelihood, Peace and Governance and Synergy, a convergenc­e plan to bring the services of the regional government closer to its constituen­ts.

ARMM Helps, one of the banner programs of the Hataman administra­tion, empowers community engagement and delivery of services through newly constructe­d village halls, community learning centers, water systems and health clinics as well as police action centers.
