XLOG BRINGS SHIPPING INTO THE DIGITAL AGE
WITH the growing number of shippers doing business online, the future of shipping and logistics industry is in digital logistics platform.

“Hopefully, Xlog succeeds. By then, I can say that I’m the first one to bring in digital logistics platform, which is a fully integrated system, not only in Philippines but probably in the world. My contribution is making things efficient in the logistic industry. If before, they made 20 moves, now it was reduced to one or two moves,” he said.
With Xlog, shippers can manage their every logistical need in shipping, trucking, customs brokerage and warehousing.
“By consolidating all these services in one single platform, it allows a simplified process, better tracking and security and ease of transaction documentation,” Ynion said.
“The software development was capital intensive and it costs somewhere in the low of nine-digits, in peso terms,” he said. Xlog will be a game changer.
“It’s a game. This is a game of doing business. If you want things up and running you have to go to this game or start making ways that are creative,” he said.
Shiptek marketing head Nico Gonzales said Xlog is a cloud -based software created to be a visually guided end- to- end
import or export process.
“It is a platform that was created by shippers for shippers. It is time efficient, it gives quality of service, it gives flexibility, and most importantly it deters smuggling,” Gonzales said. Joey Ynion, managing director of Shiptek said Xlog help shippers interact with logistics companies. Joey is the son of Eugenio Ynion. “It guarantees safety and security of goods in transit with its extensive GPS tracking feature and allows shipper to see the exact location of goods in real time,” said the younger Ynion.
Xlog provides importers and exporters a wide range of services and vendors to choose from, which allowed them to get the best possible rates and find a reputable service provider. The company only charged 2 percent of the total bill for using the Xlog platform.
