COWORKING FACILITY IN ROCKWELL OPENED

LAST July 2018, real estate developer PHINMA Properties and coworking brand Acceler8 announced that they would be opening a coworking space in Rockwell, Makati in the fourth quarter of 2018.

During the signing of the memorandum of agreement between the involved parties, PHINMA Properties President and CEO Julian V. Concepcion, SVP and COO Raphael B. Felix, Project Director Enrique Moran, and Treasurer Mike Hilado as well as co-founders of Acceler8 Mikko Barranda and Carlo Coronel were all one in saying that the goal of this partnershi­p is to be a major player in the shared economy coworking industry in the Philippine­s.

This is just one of the UnionSPACE centers of Acceler8 in Southeast Asia. The advantage of becoming a member of Acceler8 by UnionSPACE is that they have passport access to centers in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. As for their future “we are looking also to do hybrid models of both co-working and co-living concepts in Metro Manila,” Barranda further shared.

PHINMA Properties on the other hand, plan to open two more facilities in the next three years with their partners. In addition to this, they plan to look into other opportunit­ies in the real estate shared economy business.
