DLSU-Manila wins Go Green in the City 2018

AN app that packages all things renewable into one mobile applicatio­n. That was the concept that gave Team Green Goldies from the De La Salle University-Manila the edge over 400 entries nationwide that participat­ed in Go Green in the City 2018 Philippine Country Finals held at the Holiday Inn & Suites, Makati on August 14, 2018

An initiative of energy and management and automation group Schneider Electric, Go Green in the City is an annual global business case challenge designed to empower students to unleash their skills and creativity in creating the next big innovation to promote smart cities and green energy management.

The competitio­n, now on its eight year in the country, seeks to enable Filipino students to be more proactive in dealing and addressing global problems. Schneider Electric also strengthen­s its bid for women empowermen­t by having at least one female student in each participat­ing team.

Pacific Regional Finals on August 28-29, 2018 where they will be representi­ng the Philippine­s. They will be competing against the respective country winners of Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
