CCP presents vi­o­lin, pi­ano con­cert

A CON­CERT fea­tur­ing Manila Sym­phony Orches­tra’s con­cert­mas­ter-vi­o­lin­ist Gina - fes­sor- pi­anist Mary Anne Espina goes on stage with the Clar­ion Cham­ber En­sem­ble tonight at the at the Cul­tural Cen­ter of the Philip­pines’s (CCP) Tang­ha­lang Aure­lio To­lentino (CCP Lit­tle Theater).

Ti­tled “Two And Four @ - form vi­o­lin and pi­ano mas “Sonata No. 17 in C Ma­jor for Pi­ano and Vi­o­lin K. 296” and Brahms’ “Sonata No. 2 for Vi­o­lin and Pi­ano Op. 100.”

Per­form­ing along­side the two ladies are the Emanon Quar­tet, which is com­posed of vi­o­lin­ist Chris­tian Tan, viol in­ist Michael Var­gas, Lim, and cel list Paul Na­tivi­dad. They will be play­ing Haydn’s “Quar­tet in B Flat Ma­jor, Op. 76 no. 4 Sun­rise,” Suk’s “Med­i­ta­tion on the Old - es­las’ Op. 35,” Bue­naven­tura’s “Himig Nayon ( Pahi­watig, Pagsasaya),” and “Kalesa Par­ody.”
