BANKO- Perlas tries to check its twogame slide as it goes for a repeat over Iriga- Navy while Pocari- Air Force seeks payback against Tacloban at the start of the second round elimination of the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference back at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan today.

Reeling from back- to- back losses after a sweep of their first five matches, the Perlas Spikers face the Lady Oragons at 4 p. m., hoping to rebound and regain their winning ways against a team they trampled in four sets in their first round clash.

But while BanKo- Perlas is on a skid, Iriga-Navy snapped a six-game

Adamson last weekend, giving the Lady Oragons some kind of a push in their bid to post another win and

in the season- ending conference of the league organized by Sports Vision.

Dzi Gervacio, Nicole Tiamzon, Kathy Bersola, Sue Roces and Joy Dacoron, however, are expected to throw their full weight of their might against the likes of Grazielle Bombita, Hezzymie Acuña, Divine Eguia, May Madulid and veterans Joanne Bunag and Nene Bautista.

The Lady Warriors, meanwhile, hope to sustain their winning form at

to get even with the Fighting Warays that dealt them a stinging five- set defeat last Saturday.

But Pocari, which also lost to solo leader Creamline via full distance, has gotten over the five- set hump, outlasting BanKo- Perlas, also in five, last Sunday to force a tie at fourth with PetroGazz at 4- 3.
