Balutan leads opening of 65th branch in Surigao del Sur
OVER the years, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has been gradually felt in all parts of the country with the opening of branches aimed to bring the agency’s medical health programs and services closer to the people.
PCSO was positively accepted by the people of Surigao del Sur where the 65th branch of the agency was opened in the provincial capitol under the leadership of Sonia Eliza Alauya.
The newly opened branch office is now ready to cater to its clientele’s needs whether in charity cases or gaming activities and will carry out the same mandate and quality of service throughout the region.
During the event, PCSO turned over checks representing the share of local government units (LGUs) from lotto sales for the period of January to June 2018 and STL shares in the cities and municipalities in the province. The check was given right after the inauguration and blessing of the new branch office.
GM Alexander Balutan expressed gratitude to Surigao del Sur Gov. Vicente Pimentel for providing space for the PCSO branch office without rent. He said that PCSO expects to boost revenue through the agency products to share a more effective way to meet the increasing medical needs of our countrymen.
More branches are expected to be opened in Surigao del Norte, Guimaras, Quezon and Sarangani this year.
PCSO’s efforts are focused on the realization of the agency’s perspective to be present in every province before 2022.
