MARTIN K. Tanco is a member of the 11-person board of STI Education Systems Holdings Inc. He used to own 53.119 million STI common shares, or 0.536 percent of 9.905 billion STI common shares. He reported his ownership of STI common shares in a public ownership report (POR) dated Oct.5, 2018. He increased his STI holdings by buying 1.8 million STI common shares at different prices.

On Nov. 12, 2018, he bought 600,000 STI common shares at P0.58 each and 800,000 STI common shares at P0.59 each. On Nov. 13, 2018, he acquired 400,000 STI common shares at P0.58 each. He is a cousin of the owner, businessman Eusebio H. Tanco.

Sold

San Miguel Corp. (SMC) reduced its holdings in San Miguel Purefoods Co. Inc. (market symbol: FB) to 5.204 billion FB common shares from 5.665 billion FB common shares after selling 461.082 million FB common shares on Nov. 15, 2018. The sale reduced to 5.204 billion FB common shares SMC’s ownership in the F and B subsidiary.

In a disclosure, SMC said with the disposal of part of its FB holdings,

“SMFB is now compliant with the minimum public ownership requirement of the Exchange.”

A Purefoods’ POR dated Nov. 14, 2018 listed SMC as principal stockholder with 5.204 billion FB common shares, or 87.07 percent. The public were reported as holders of 704.722 million FB common shares, or 11.93 percent.

Prior to the sale of 461.082 million FB common shares on Nov. 12, 2018, SMC owned 5.665 billion FB common shares, or 95.87 percent of 5.909 billion FB common shares.
