Bong Go vows more projects for Tarlac
TARLAC CITY, Tarlac: Former special assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go promised to deliver more projects for Tarlac during his second visit to the province in a week.
“The welfare of every Filipino is the priority of the President,” Go said at the 2018 Barangay Health Workers Congress held recently at the Bulwagan ng Kanlahi here.
He cited the New Clark City (NCC) in Capas, Tarlac, as among the infrastructure endeavors in Central Luzon.
“A lot of work opportunities await Tarlaqueños in New Clark City, and you deserve it,” Go said.
The NCC is projected to be an economically competitive city that will bring in more investments and opportunities for the region, enabling the Philippines to sustain its robust economic growth.
It will also be the home of a world-class sports facility that will serve as venue for the Southeast Asian Games which the Philippines is hosting next year.
This sports facility, Go said, is a major step in supporting Filipino athletes toward the country’s
the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., the Department of Health and the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Such assistance can bring down the patient’s medical bill, including medicines, to the lowest possible amount.
