Jungolfer Pineda scores win in Macau

Cayabyab carded a 224 aggregate to clinch the Class B honors in the Zhang Lianwei Cup Macau Junior Open Championship held recently in Macau.

Cayabyab escaped a quadruple bogey on a par- 5 hole to finish with an even- par 71 beating local bet Hun Tengteng during round three of the 54hole championship.

Cayabyab started from the back nine and bucked down to work with a two under until her 12th hole. She was already eight strokes ahead before closing that nine on the par-5 No. 4.

She fought back with two more

cruised to victory as Hun soared to a 77 for 230.

Her last international victory was at the Future Champions of

California in 2014.

in Boy’s Class B while Masaichi Otake finished fifth in boy’s Class A.
