‘Yes votes to rule BOL plebiscite’
CAMP DARAPANAN, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao: The chairman of the Central Committee of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) said the “Yes” votes would win overwhelmingly in the January 21 plebiscite on the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL).

Ebrahim said “a Yes vote is a vote for peace, justice, and progress, while a “No” vote is a vote for uncertainty.”
“The BOL is not an ordinary piece of legislation. It is based on the Framework Agreement on the Bangsamoro and the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro as well as the remaining substantive gains of the
1996,” the MILF chairman said.
He also described it as a good law which could be used in establishing a good place for the people to live free from fear, hunger, and oppression.
Ebrahim added that the BOL was not given to Bangsamoro people on a silver platter.
