FOR over eight decades, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office ( PCSO) has been a beacon of hope to indigent Filipinos.

Fulfilling its mandate as medical service- oriented institution, it aids and supports the healthcare needs of thousands of people year after year, leading to the improvement of individuals’ well-being as well as changing their lives for the better.

To further strengthen its credibility and dedication to public service, PCSO held the ongoing Corporate ImageBuilding seminar-workshop for the Northern and Central Luzon Departments of the Branch Operations Sector.

Held on November 22 at the PCSO main office at Sunplaza, Mandaluyong City, the day-long activity was facilitated by Corporate Planning Department officer-in- charge/department manager Jerusa Corpuz, emphasizing that image is one of the crucial components of credibility of a person, and paramount for an institution or organization.

“Corporate Image is the picture or representation of what an agency or organization the public or its audience perceive it to be. Therefore it is imperative to analyze, plan and develop PCSO’s image not just as a Government Owned and Controlled Corporation (GOCC), but most importantly as the harbinger of charitable service to the whole nation,” Corpuz intoned.
