The Manila Times

A different kind of movie date

-

STILL have nowhere to go for Valentine’s tomorrow? If you want to skip the crowded restaurants and concert venues, why don’t you head out to watch a movie.

This may sound like a lame idea but TheManilaTimesEntertainment was quite impressed to discover how SM Cinema’s luxurious Director’s Club cinemas have pulled out all the stops for a unique Valentine’s Day date.

On February 14, movie loving couples can try their “Watch · Eat · Love” promo, which will give them a choice of two movies to watch which they can enjoy over a romantic dinner of Smoked Salmon Pasta or Bolognese Pasta with Meatballs, and Chicken Cordon Bleu with Mashed Potato and Baguio Beans. The package also includes either a half dozen red roses or a half dozen pink lilies.

The two titles on view specially for Valentine’s day are “New Life,” a story of childhood infatuation growing into something much deeper, or “How to Be a Latin Lover,” which revolves around a husband whose wife replaces him for a younger man and kicks him out of their mansion.

Online booking is still available via www. smcinema. com. or at the box office 30 minutes before the scheduled screenings of the movies tomorrow night.
