SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan: A fuming President Rodrigo Duterte has threatened to slap a former legislator who wrote a story concerning his health.

Francisco Tatad for being disrespect­ful for publishing an opinion piece, which said that Duterte had a kidney transplant on Jan. 29, 2019.

He said what Tatad published was a violation of press freedom.

The opinion piece was pub- lished in TheManilaT­imes this week.

“This Tatad, you Tatad. You know, there is a border between press freedom and disrespect­ing people. If I see you, get out of my way. You son of a b***h, I will slap you. Believe me, I will slap you in front of a lot of people,” Duterte said.
