NEW DEP- ED ARRM DIVISION HEAD INSTALLED

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur: The Department of Education of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (DepEd-ARMM) has installed Sahanee Macarampat Sumagayan as the new OIC-Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) of Lanao del Sur-1 (LDS-1). DepEd-ARMM chief legal office Dayang Akhira Sansarona Alawi representing DepEd-ARMM officially installed Sumagayan to her new post on Sunday, the first working day of the week in this Islamic city as per ordinance of its Sanggguniang Panlungsod that also makes Friday a non-working day. Sumagayan replaced Dr. Normillah Sumigay Pangandaman. DepEd-ARMM Regional Secretary Rasol Mitmug Jr. said Sumagayan was designated as OIC-SDS on February 13 after the position of SDS of Lanao del Sur-1 was declared vacant on February 8, 2019 by operation of law.
