CLOSING SHOP

Customers leave a Payless Shoes store in Los Angeles, California on February 17, 2019 after the company announced it will close all 2,100 of its locations in the United States and Puerto Rico by May. Payless now joins other brick and mortar stores Toys “R” Us, Brookstone and clothing store Charlotte Russe as the casualties of the growth of online shopping.
