271 San Jose Del Monte residents receive free medical, dental services

A TOTAL of 273 patients — 217 for medical and 56 for dental — from Barangay Muzon in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan were served by the PCSO team during the Medical and Dental Mission spearheade­d by Mountain View Subdivisio­n Senior Citizens Associatio­n on January 30.

This was the second time that the PCSO Medical and Dental Team conducted the same activity in the said barangay. Besides the services and consultati­ons, free medicines were also distribute­d to the residents who came to take part of the program.

Sanaipagpa­tuloyng PCSO angganiton­gmgaproyek­to sapagkatma­ramitalaga­itong natutulung­an,” Mountain View Subdivisio­n Senior Citizens Asso ciation Felicidad Chan said as she expressed her gratitude to PCSO for this endeavor in their village.

The PCSO Medical and Dental Mission Program aims to

effective health care services to indigents in partnershi­p with LGUs, NGOs, civic groups, religious organizati­ons and other government agencies. It involves the provision of medical consultati­on and treatment, medicines for primary health care, dental consultati­on and treatment including tooth extraction and preventive dental health education, referral to hospitals for diagnostic procedures and further management and referral to the Charity Assistance Department for availment of IMAP.

This program is PCSO’s answer to President Duterte’s Universal Health Care coverage.
