Del Monte, Apo Agway best rivals in 4th Mindanao Meet Golf Tournament

DEL Monte regular team and Apo Agway seniors bagged the Division I title in the 4th Mindanao Meet Golf Tournament held on June 19 to 22 at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club in Davao City.

Composed of Julius Langamin, Boboy Jaraula, Juvencio Lusterio, Reno Langgamin, Crispin Aparilla and Pepedz De Pedro, the Del Monte regular carded a 267 gross-aggregate to cop the Regulars Division 1 championship trophy.

The Pueblo Team finished second with a 245 gross followed by Apo Regular 1 with a 234.

Brittannika Regular B copped the Division 2 championship crown with a 222 gross followed by Camp Evangelista (204) and EAAB Regular (197), respectively.

Palos — FTS RDL claimed the Regular Division 3 diadem after scoring a 144 in the annual four- day championship followed by MSU Marawi Team 2 (83) and MSU Marawi Team 1 (63).

Meanwhile, Apo Agway Seniors led by Teody Barnuevo, Quitin Singson, Alrey Ceniza, Alimar Etrone, Larry Pasquil, and Monchit Mackay assembled a 381 to rule the Seniors Category.

Palos Seniors 1 posted a 368 to finish behind Apo Agway but ahead of Del Monte Seniors Team A, who finished third with a 339.

The Palos Seniors 2 team, on the other hand, won the Seniors Division 2 crown by submitting a 341, five strokes ahead of first runner- up Brittanikka Seniors ( 336). Apo Seniors Team A was at distant third with a 223.

Dole Kalsangi Seniors claimed the Seniors Division 3 honors with a 297 against MSU – Marawi Seniors 1 and 2, who had a 278 and 223, respectively.
