AUDI Philippines ( PH) is bullish for its 2020 prospects on the back of new model launches, anticipating hitting the 1,000unit target sales.

“We have a very exciting line- up next year. We will be introducing full- range RS line- up and of course, our all- new electric vehicle the Audi E- tron,” Audi PH General Sales Manager Gian Paolo Brambilla told The Manila Times. For this year, Brambilla said Audi PH was eyeing to reach sales of 700 units.

He said the car firm was nearing this year’s target, having sold around 600 units already.

“It is the first time that we boosted our sales to almost double compared to last year,” he said, noting Audi PH sold only around 350 units in 2018.

Recently, Audi PH introduced 2020 Audi Q3 model, 300 units of which are expected to be sold until next year on upbeat outlook for its demand.

Brambilla said Audi PH was banking on customerfocused features of the latest model to drive the sales.

Audi Q3 — which is built with a high- gloss styling package, electric tailgate and aluminum roof rails — is equipped with 1.4- liter, inline- four, turbocharged gasoline engine, which delivers 150 horsepower and 250 Newton- meters of torque.

The car body also features modern technology, including smartphone interface, Audi sound system, Bluetooth Interface, and rear- view camera, among others.

Its safety features include electronic stability control, electromechanical power steering, park assist, hill descent control, child safety lock, and airbag system.
