Rizal to experience water interruptions
SOME 363,000 residents of Rizal province will experience water service interruption due to works at the Cardona treatment plant, Manila Water Co. Inc. said.
In its advisory, the Ayala-led utility said the water service interruption affecting 54
barangay (villages) would take effect from December 4 at 10 p.m. to December 5 at 6 a.m.
The affected areas will be: – Cainta: San Andres, San Juan, San Roque, Sta. Rosa, Sto. Domingo and Sto. Nino– – Taytay: Muzon and San Juan
– Angono: San Isidro, San Roque, Sto. Nino, San Vicente, Kalayaan, San Pedro, Poblacion Ibaba and Poblacion Itaas
– Cardona: Calahan, Dalig, Looc and San Roque – Binangonan: Pag-asa,
Tayuman, San Carlos, Tagpos, Bilibiran, Pantok, Palangoy, Darangan, Batingan, Calumpang, Libis, Layunan, Libid, Mahabang, Parang, Lunsad, Pila-pila, Limbon-Limbon, Ithan, Tatala, Macamot, and MambogBaras: Evangelista, Mabini, Concepcion, San Miguel, San Juan, San Jose, Rizal, San Salvador and Santiago
– Jalajala: First District, Second District, Third District and Punta
Manila Water is advising residents of the said villages to store enough water to supply their needs during the interruption period.
“After service is restored, customers are advised to allow a few minutes for flushing before using the water from their taps,” it added.
