MAYOR SURPRISES 300 TOWN EMPLOYEES WITH DRUG TEST

SAN LEONARDO, Nueva Ecija: Mayor Froilan Nagaño surprised the 300 officials and employees of his municipality when he announced on Monday morning flag raising ceremony that they would undergo a drug test right then and there. Luckily, none were found positive.Nagaño even invited town and barangay officials to be present in the flag raising, Nagaño decided to have the employees undergo drug test after his chief of police Major Ferdinand Alivia alleged that an average of 10 drug suspects have been arrested every month in several villages. The surprise drug check was conducted by the local Rural Health Unit. Some 53 police personnel volunteered to undergo the drug test.
