Filipino cue artists launch title bid

THE Philippine billiards team launches its medal quest in the 30th Southeast Asian Games on Tuesday at the Manila Hotel Tent.

The host team’s men’s 9- ball pool doubles squad of Carlo Biado and Johannes Chua plunges into action at 10 a.m. followed by the men’s snooker doubles, men’s 1- cushion carom and women’s 10-ball pool singles.

Legendary Efren “Ba ta” medal finishes in the 2011 Palembang, 2013 Myanmar and 2015 Singapore Games.
