EX-PCSO OFFICIAL NAMED NEW ECOZONE CHIEF

ZAMBOANGA CITY: President Rodrigo Duterte appointed Raul Regondola as the new chairman and administra­tor of the Zamboanga Economic Zone and Freeport Authority (Zezpa) during formal rites last Thursday in Malacañang. Regondola, a native of this city, was the former Zamboanga Peninsula regional manager of the Philippine Charity Sweepstake­s Office (PCSO). A prominent leader of various civic and private organizati­ons and a professor at the Universida­d de Zamboanga, he holds a master’s degree in business administra­tion. Climaco-Salazar, Rep. Manuel Dalipe Jr. and Councilor Crisanto de la Cruz, commended the appointmen­t of Regondola as Zezpa manager. They said he is “widely known for his strong leadership and credibilit­y,” and pledged to extend their all-out support and cooperatio­n during his six-year term as chairman and administra­tor of the ecozone and freeport. The President reappointe­d another Zamboangue­no, Jose Suan, as member of the Zezpa board of directors.
