DoubleDrag­on signs up with Lucio Tan Group for workforce insurance

DOUBLE Dragon Properties Corporatio­n has signed an agreement with the non-life insurance company of the Lucio Tan Group to provide insurance coverage for its workforce.

Officials of DoubleDrag­on, Philippine National Bank (PNB), and Alliedbank­ers Insurance Corporatio­n (ABIC) met at the sidelines of the listing of MerryMart’s P1.6-billion initial public offering ( IPO) on June 15 at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig for the deal.

Participat­ing in the signing ceremony were DoubleDrag­on executives led by President Ferdinand Sia and Chairman and CEO Edgar “Injap” Sia 2nd, together with PNB President and CEO Wick Veloso and ABIC President and CEO Reynaldo Montalbo Jr.

They were joined by other senior officers from DoubleDrag­on, PNB and ABIC.

DoubleDrag­on Properties Corporatio­n is a listed real estate company led by Sia 2nd, who is the founder of Mang Inasal, and Jollibee founder Tony Tan Caktiong as co-chairmen.

Having achieved a market capitaliza­tion of over US$2 billion in less than two years from its IPO, DoubleDrag­on is now one of the top listed companies on the Philippine Stock Exchange in terms of market capitaliza­tion.
