PMA ENTRANCE EXAMS RESET FROM AUGUST 26 TO OCTOBER 3
ILIGAN CITY: The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) entrance examinations have been rescheduled from August 26 to October 3. Officials of the PMA said the postponement of the PMA examinations was in line with compliance of the country’s premier military school with safety and health protocols to help stop the spread of the novel coronavirus. Each testing center will be given four days to administer the examinations to qualified applicants. In accordance with standard protocols, the number of examinees shall not exceed 50 percent of the seating capacity of the venue to be able to observe social distancing. Proctor teams at each center will reach out to their respective examinees to inform the latter about the date of their reporting to the examination venue. Examination permits may now be downloaded. Permits for applicants will be emailed. Honor student-applicants must present their special permits to the proctors in any testing center nearest them. On examination day, an applicant must bring with him a photocopy of birth certificate, a photocopy of Form 137/138, two clear and colored 2X2 ID pictures with white background, two pencils (#2), medical certificate /clearance from municipality health office, health declaration form from the municipality, valid ID, face mask and alcohol/hand sanitizer. Walk-in applicants may only be entertained on the last day of examination in a testing center, depending on the availability of testing materials and the available seats in the venue based on the 50-percent capacity rule. Applicants are advised to coordinate with their respective local government units on possible restrictions on their movement to the examination venues.
