Goings on at Grab

-

AS last year’s “new normal” drops the new and life goes on — still mostly from our homes — pre-pandemic’s go-to hail-a-ride platform is now determined more than ever to cater to the needs of their now homebound passengers.

Quick to launch GrabMart quite early in the pandemic, Grab Philippines proudly sees its brand today as a dependable home helper to many, with its system of grocery shopping service and delivery even more improved since April 2020.

Now serving different shopping needs such as weekly grocery restock and last-minute purchases, they have also grown the number of onboarded stores that offer fresh produce, consumables, snacks, pet essentials, pharmacies, health and beauty products and even those that sell vegetarian and frozen and ready-to-eat Korean food.

Convinced that grocery home delivery is the most practical and safest means to access essentials amid this reality, the company’s early successes have even inspired them to seek the help of public darling Sarah Geronimo to encourage the habit among Filipinos.

“As someone who came from a humble background, alam ko kung gaano kahalaga to make the most out of every peso aside from our need to keep safe today. Kaya I am very excited to be working with Grab dahil sa mga campaigns, initiatives and promos nila to give value to our money,” said the ever humble music, TV and movie star during her official launch in February.

True to their brand ambassador’s announcement back then, GrabMart, in a statement sent to The Manila Times Lifestyle, proudly shared it is currently running its Unlimited Free Delivery campaign, with partner groceries, Robinsons, WalterMart, The Marketplace, and Shopwise.

“Available until March 31, we hope that GrabMart can offer more value and convenience to our customers. All they need to do is use the code UNLIFREEDEL (with a P900-minimum spend) upon check out and they can expect their essentials and groceries delivered to their doorsteps,” said Head of Deliveries EJ dela Vega.

Just one of the goings on at the on-demand platform, the statement ended with the executive promising that more value-for-money campaigns are ready in their lineup as he renewed the brand’s commitment to help everyone thrive from home.
