22.94 million shares for IMI’s 11-man board

INTEGRATED Micro-Electronic­s Inc. (IMI) posted on the website of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) its issuance of 22,940,132 direct and indirect common shares, or 1.04 percent of 2,217,293,215 outstandin­g common shares, to its 11-person board, according to the company’s public ownership report (POR) as of Dec. 31, 2020, which it also posted on the PSE website on Jan. 25, 2021: Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, chairman, his brother Fernando, Jose Teodoro K. Limcauco, Edgar O. Chua and Delfin L. Lazaro, 100 common shares each; Diosdado P. Banatao, 115 common shares; Rafael C. Romualdez and Jose Ignacio A. Carlos, a nominal common share each; Arthur R. Tan, 21,223,552 common shares, or 0.96 percent; Sherisa P. Nuessa, 1,003,385 common shares, or 0.05 percent; and Hiroshima Nishimura, 712,578 common shares, or 0.03 percent.

The POR listed AC Industrial Technology Holdings Inc. as direct holder of 1,153,725,046 IMI common shares, or 52.03 percent, and Resins Inc, 291,785,034 common shares, or 13.16 percent, for total direct holdings of 1,445,510,080 common shares, or 65.19 percent. As an affiliate, Ayala Corp. directly owns 1,379,892 common shares, or 0.06 percent. IMI credited the public with 681,687,216 common shares, or 30.74 percent.

Integrated Micro-Electronic­s peaked at a 30-day high of P11.28 on Jan. 25, 2021 when it opened at P9.30; climbed to dropped to P9.28; and closed at P11. It fell to 30-day low of P7.03 on Dec. 14, 2020 when it opened at P7.12; climbed to P7.24; and closed at P7.10.

Guild Securities Inc. was the only principal stockholde­r of Crown Equities Inc. (CEI). It indirectly owned 7,770,565,252 common shares, or 51.94 percent of 14,959,999,950 outstandin­g common shares, according to CEI’s public ownership report as of Dec. 31, 2020.

Crown Equities attributed 5,666,891,174 common shares, or 38 percent, to the public stockholde­rs, according to the POR. It had 15 directors, with 1,522,543,524 CEI common shares, or 10.15 percent. The 15 directors were led by George L. Go, chairman, 774,638,380 common shares, or 5.18 percent, and

Wilfredo V. Vergara, vice chairman, 24,833,600 common shares, or 0.16 percent. The other members of the board were direct and indirect holders of 774,638,380 CEI common shares, or 58 percent; Antonio B. Alvarez, 195,360 common shares; Eugene B. Macalalag, 18,740,088 common shares, or 0.12 percent; Salvador P. Escano, 11,000 common shares; Patrick Warren D. Go, 200.035 million common shares, or 1.33 percent; Conrado G. Marty, 88,008 common shares; Nixon Y. Lim, 404.448 million common shares, or 2.7 percent; Melvin Andrew O. Vergara, 11,000 common shares; and Christophe­r Brian C. Dy, 22,000 shares.

CEI had four independen­t directors, namely, Ramon A. Recto, 11.968 million common shares, or 0.08 percent; Rodolfo B. Fernandez, 88 common shares; Emilio S. de Quiroz Jr., 11,000 common shares; and Reynaldo V. Reyes, 550,000 common shares.

Crown Equities peaked at a 30day high of 0.192 on Jan. 19, 2021 when it opened at P0.174; dropped to session low of P0.173; and closed at P0.180. It fell to 30-day low of P0.138 on Jan. 7, 2021 when it opened at P0.139; climbed to P0.148; and closed at P0.141.

Felipe L. Gozon is the chairman of the board and chief executive officer of GMA Network Inc. On Jan. 21, 2021, he bought 146,100 GMA Philippine Deposit Receipt (GMAP) at P0.05 each. The additional PDRs increased his holdings to 150,422,225 from 150,276,125.

GMA Holdings has five directors who compose its board with Gozon as chairman and Joel Marcelo G. Jimenez as vice chairman and Gilberto R. Duavit Jr. as regular director. Of the five-member board, two were independen­t directors, namely, Jaime C. Laya and Artemio V. Panganiban.

GMAP has 682,460,800 outstandin­g PDRs, according to the PSE website that are both listed and issued.

GMAP’s PDRs peaked at a 30-day high of P6.09 on Jan. 13, 2021 when it opened at P6; dropped to P6; and closed at P6.09. On Jan. 14, it opened at P5.93, which was also its session low; and closed at its 30-day and session high of P6.09. On Jan. 18, it opened at a 30-day and session high of P6.09, fell to P6.03; and finished at session low of P6.03. It fell to a 30-day low of P5.51 on Dec. 3, 2020 when it opened at its 30-day and session low of P5.51; climbed to P5.68; and closed at P5.65.

Will CEI’s public stockholde­rs satisfy with their holdings? Just asking.
