MOST celebrities these days have steadily maintained their public exposure via vlogs on their respective YouTube channels. Such popular platforms are an income-generating source in the absence of regular showbiz work, which is hard to come by given these pandemic-wrought times.
Interestingly, vlogs are as varied as they are worth-watching or otherwise. Just when you thought you knew everything about them, wait, there are still too many unknown truths you’ll be bowled over to discover.
And yes, there are also recent revelations of a forgotten past which are best relegated to oblivion, never to be relived.
Unless it’s for a promo of a reunion movie of former sweethearts, we don’t see anything awkwardly amiss with dredging up the past. But if they’re now happily ensconced with their respective partners is another story.
If we’re not mistaken, it was Sharon Cuneta who started it all what with her separate social media posts about her exes Richard Gomez and Robin Padilla.
The Megastar talked about how these men had shown her what chivalry literally means, and how it melted her heart during those times. Their non-reactionary wives Congresswoman Lucy Torres-Gomez and Mariel Rodriguez, respectively, simply rode along.
Both Lucy and Mariel knew Sharon was just taking a trip down memory lane. No malice intended let alone intention to ruffle their feathers. Surely, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan hardly minded that his wife fondly talk about the men who came before him.

John, who shares the same birthday as Heart, is of course happily married to Isabel Oli, and so is she to Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
Like the other Francis, we can surmise how amused Chiz seems to be by his wife while waiting until she buckles down to TV work. Heart’s admission about her romantic chapter with John comes as a book with “limited edition” editing out equally colorful portions involving Jericho Rosales and Daniel Matsunaga.
Occupying a special spot in this big reveal charade is the then-popular Rica Peralejo as she — surprise of surprises — tagged Piolo Pascual as her ex-beau.
Showbiz pundits hardly recall that the 44-year-old actor was ever linked to Rica. We vaguely remember if Piolo and Rica were even teamed up in a movie much less.
In deference to Rica, the only person who Piolo proudly introduced as his girlfriend was KC Concepcion, not even the mother of his son Iñigo. Even if armed with truth, Rica has gained an army of cynics and bashers put together.

Guess who? This former sexy actress (FSA) has found a lucrative means of living in the US.
Nah, she’s not into doing bit roles in some run-off-the-mill movie but her high-paying job requires “acting,” too.
It’s the same role that the FSA plays, that of a “road accident victim.”
At the sight of a slow-moving vehicle, the FSA crosses the street, lets her body gets sideswiped and slumps on the ground as she writhes in pain (without the motorist knowing it’s all drama).
The panicky motorist gets off the car and offers help to his “injured victim.” But the FSA refuses to be brought to the nearest hospital, and demands that the driver pay her instead.
Realizing that her “chosen field” pays well, the FSA has resorted to this many times over but in different places.
