ShareIt seeks more partners in Philippines
GLOBAL technology company ShareIt looks to further its brand growth capabilities in the country, its executive said on Wednesday.
In a virtual briefing, ShareIt Philippines Country Director Lisa Dominguez said that among the company’s plans for the year is to work with more local brands and help them drive growth.
Dominguez noted that the company is currently working with about 25 local brands across different campaigns from user growth, brand awareness, growth and retention.
ShareIt said local brands and marketers can make use of the ShareIt app as another platform for marketing and growth.
“Through ShareIt’s tailored solutions and capabilities, brands can run ads and targeted campaigns on the platform, allowing them to reach the platform’s billions of users globally. Ultimately, ShareIt enhances the digital marketing ecosystem by helping brands maximize their return on ad spend and drive user retention and growth,” the company said in a separate statement.
The app currently has nearly 2.4 billion users worldwide.
The Philippines serves as its fastest growing market with nearly 40 million monthly active users in the country alone.
Dominguez also said they have seen an “exceptional” organic growth in the country.
ShareIt’s data showed that its local user base climbed to 121 million all-time installed users in the first quarter of 2021 from 95 million in the fourth quarter of 2019.
Aside from working with brands, talent acquisition and establishing partnerships are also part of the company’s plans this year.
Dominguez highlighted Ingat Angat, their recent partnership with the private sector, which aims to boost vaccine confidence and spread awareness on the vaccine rollout in the country.
