IATF allows resumption of career service exams
THE Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has allowed the resumption of Career Executive Service Executive written examinations Service Board (CESB). by the Career According to IATF-EID Resolution 115 dated May 13, it also allowed the operation of CESB assessment centers.
The task force said the activities allowed will be subject to observance of the minimum public health standards at all times.
The IATF-EID also allowed the Technical Development to conduct Education in-person Authority assessments and (Tesda) Skills for household service workers (HSWs) in areas under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ). The task force said the assessments shall be conducted only in Tesda-accredited training institutions, and shall be limited only for HSWs ready for deployment and those with valid contracts and visas.
The task force said all applicants must abide by the guidelines of Tesda relative to the conduct of in-person assessments.
Meanwhile in a separate resolution, the IATF-EID has also allowed the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) to resume its operations of selling Lotto tickets in areas under MECQ.
The IATF-EID, in its Resolution 115, said aside from Lotto tickets, the PCSO and its authorized agents may also resume the selling of Keno, Scratch-IT, and Small Town Lottery tickets in their kiosks in the said areas.
The PCSO has also been directed by the IATF-EID to ensure strict compliance with health and safety protocols and minimum public health standards in all its operations.
The IATF-EID earlier prohibited the operations of Lotto and other numbers games in areas under MECQ and enhanced community quarantine.
These came following President Rodrigo Duterte’s announcement on the implementation of general community quarantine in the National Capital Region and its neighboring provinces but with heightened restrictions.
