6 apprehended in Bacoor buy-bust

BACOOR CITY, Cavite: Six individuals were apprehended by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Police Drug Enforcement Unit in a sting operation in Barangay Queens Row East on Tuesday.

Authorities identified the arrested drug suspects as Christian Abad alias Aba, 30; Maverick Samonte; Jethro Trigueros, 21; Vergilio Trigueros Jr., 27; Jomari Guillera, 23; and Sonny Boy Singco, 49.

Confiscated from the arrested drug suspects were eight pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, four pieces of aluminum foil strip, two pieces of aluminum foil used as improvised needle, two pieces of aluminum foil used as improvised tooter, three pieces of lighter, one unit black Cherry Mobile basic phone and 15 grams of suspected shabu with street value of P103,500.

The detainees are now undergoing inquest proceedings and are facing charges of illegal possession of illegal drugs.
