Regionsinbriefs 7 DRUG SUSPECTS NABBED IN TAWI-TAWI

SEVEN drug personalities were arrested in a joint law enforcement operation in Barangay Panglima Alari, Sitangkai, Tawi-Tawi on Monday. Brig. Gen. Romeo Racadio, commander of Joint Task Force Tawi-Tawi, on Wednesday identified the suspects as Jemar Jindi Julpakkal, Benhar Jamil Arub, Jorover Buksalan Lagayan, Yasser Apay Abdurasid, Hondi Pallugah Aguido, Jay-al Marajan Alamansa and Almisal Abubakar Jumahali. Seized from their possession were four transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with a total estimated value of P1,500 and cash amounting to P10,946. Racadio also said that all arrested individuals were duly apprised of their constitutional rights and charged for the violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The pieces of evidence were submitted to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao for forensic laboratory examination and safekeeping.
