-

WITH promoting management excellence for nation-building as its main objective, the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) is a 72-year-old management organization whose over 1,000 members represent a cross-section of chief executive OFfiCERS, CHIEF OPERATING OFfiCERS AND OTHER TOP MANAGEMENT PRACTITIONERS from the largest local and multinational companies operating in the Philippines.

MAP also counts some top management educators and government officials as its members.

Its vision is “The Country’s Leading Organization Committed to Promoting Management Excellence for Nation-Building.”

Working on its mission to promote management excellence for nation-building, the organization of business and civic leaders is guided by humanistic core values and principles with its strategic thrust of Member benefits; Advocasies for good governance, global competitiveness, inclusive growth, climate change and sustainability; and Programs for management excellence.

In line with the theme, “Push for change toward a better future for all,” MAP will pursue three main thrusts.

Policy reform for economic dynamism. Push for vital policy reforms through executive or legislative action to sustain economic recovery to attract more local and foreign investments, and improve the ease of doing business in the country.

Human development and wellbeing. Push for programs that will produce more functional graduates, encourage further innovation in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education, promote better values formation, and secure public health.

Shared prosperity and sustainability. Push for action at the enterprise level on the Covenant for Shared Prosperity commitments pertaining to employees, customers, suppliers, communities, environment, and shareholders, through approaches such as ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) reporting.
