Hero gives free swab, antigen tests to QC constituents

-

THE drastic jump in the number of Covid-19 cases has left people uneasy about going out.

However, getting tested is one of the best ways to ensure that a person isn’t infected and has peace of mind.

But for many Filipinos, buying a testing kit isn’t easy given fears of being infected while going to pharmacies and of the possible prohibitive costs of testing kits.

To help alleviate these concern, Quezon City Fourth District Councilor Hero Bautista deploys his office’s medical truck to provide free swab and antigen tests to his constituents in all 38 barangay (villages) in the district in order that residents can get themselves tested without having to go far from their homes.

Aside from Covid-19 testing, the medical truck also performs blood-letting for interested blood donors in the area. The collected blood is donated to health facilities in Quezon City to help augment plasma supply.
