First joint data center power and cooling testing facility opens in PH
VERTIV, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, and AWS Distribution Philippines Corp., Vertiv’s exclusive distributor for mid-market and three-phase power and thermal products in the Philippines, unveiled the companies’ first joint modern testing facility in the country.
Located in the eastern part of Metro Manila in Binangonan, Rizal, AWS Distribution customers may use the facility to test the performance and interoperability of their purchased Vertiv power and thermal solutions.
The facility, which opened early this month, enables highly trained Vertiv and AWS Distribution engineers to conduct a series of comprehensive tests on Vertiv customer equipment. Testing options include simulation of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and precision cooling systems operating under various load and operating conditions, as well as pre-installation testing, for confidence in a smooth and seamless deployment at the customer’s install base. Test results are documented and customers are provided with a comprehensive report.
