MARAWI GIVES OUT LIVELIHOOD FOOD CARTS
MARAWI CITY: Gov. Mamintal Adiong Jr. has ordered the release of funds to the second batch comprised of 240 beneficiaries of the Negosyo Livelihood Program, which is a food cart business with a P5,000 cash investment for each beneficiary. The mobile food carts are also complete with cooking equipment from the Gender and Development Office program, Adiong said. He noted the purpose of this program is to augment the livelihood of the beneficiaries. Program spokesman Sirikit Macatangcop-Balindong said beneficiaries must be those who are living below the poverty line. The second batch of beneficiaries was selected from the municipalities of Ditsaan Ramain, Mulondo, Taraka, Balindong, Bacolod Kalawi, Kapai, Tagoloan, Madamba, Masiu, Pagayawan, Pualas, Calanogas, Malabang, Kapatagan, Bayang, Binidayan, Tubaran, Sultan Domalundong, Lumbaca Unayan, Butig, Marogong and Wao, Balindong said.
