MARAWI GIVES OUT LIVELIHOOD FOOD CARTS

MARAWI CITY: Gov. Mamintal Adiong Jr. has ordered the release of funds to the second batch comprised of 240 beneficiar­ies of the Negosyo Livelihood Program, which is a food cart business with a P5,000 cash investment for each beneficiar­y. The mobile food carts are also complete with cooking equipment from the Gender and Developmen­t Office program, Adiong said. He noted the purpose of this program is to augment the livelihood of the beneficiar­ies. Program spokesman Sirikit Macatangco­p-Balindong said beneficiar­ies must be those who are living below the poverty line. The second batch of beneficiar­ies was selected from the municipali­ties of Ditsaan Ramain, Mulondo, Taraka, Balindong, Bacolod Kalawi, Kapai, Tagoloan, Madamba, Masiu, Pagayawan, Pualas, Calanogas, Malabang, Kapatagan, Bayang, Binidayan, Tubaran, Sultan Domalundon­g, Lumbaca Unayan, Butig, Marogong and Wao, Balindong said.
