stroys everything in its path. The acceptable propositio­n is that economics should be guided by human values, religion, and by education, which means a deviation from hogging the limelight of power that boasts of its buying advantage and influence on everything including moral principles.

If education is the key element in building nations and societies, then it is high time for business to listen and be harmonized with human values, religion and be attuned to the call for the conservati­on of Mother Earth. The partnershi­p of education and the

business sector must be an active agent in rectifying the imbalance and prejudice that bring about several economic and geopolitic­al problems in the world. Along with human values and religion, education should become a conscience in the world of business and a principled driving force in attaining economic progress.
